The ornamental fence panels are either cut away or unbolted from the old post. The old post is dug/jack hammered out all the way to the bottom of the hole. The old cement is removed as well.
A new post replaces the old and new cement is added.
The fence panels are reattached to the new post by welding the post/panel together or using ornamental fence brackets designed to join ornamental posts and panels. New posts are then painted gloss, semi gloss or flat black depending on the color condition of the existing fence.
Materials: Ornamental fence posts are typically 2”x2” steel posts with a steel cap. This may vary from job to job. Matching the existing post is the driving factor in post selection.
