Old support posts are often rotting from moisture and exposure to the elements.
Over time, structural failure will eventually occur.
New posts are selected from pressure-treated lumber. Old cement casings are cleared from the ground and the hole for the post is dug to sufficient depth and to allow new posts to sit plumb in place and flush to joist and header boards.
Posts can be installed with additional hardware and structural reinforcement features.
